Making your story safe, sexy and powerful
What does an intimacy coordinator do for your project? Our job is to make your intimate scenes great. This about more than consent: it’s about promoting safety while making art, telling stories, and ensuring that your intimate scenes are as authentically sexy, dramatic, tense, romantic or kinky as your story demands, all while protecting the well-being of your cast and crew to ensure everyone can do the best job they can.
When people are in a safe and protected environment, they make good art. So, let me help you tell your story the best it can be told.
what can I do for you?
COORDINATION
Work With Actors and Directors
Whether we’re on or off set, collaboration and communication is a key part of what I do, ensuring the integrity of the director’s vision while maintaining comfort, safety and comprehension for the actors. Our one-on-one meetings are an important part of this process.
Choreograph Scenes
As the resident intimacy expert, my toolkit includes a breadth of knowledge on all things sex. I’m prepared to choreograph any sex and intimacy scenes in your script to tell your story with an accurate and safe simulated portrayal of the desired sexual act.
Utilize Barriers and Masking
Successfully simulating a sex scene requires the proper masking techniques to ensure the intimacy looks real on camera while avoiding any actual arousal to keep your cast and crew safe. As an IC, I bring with me the knowledge of how to correctly use intimacy barriers and masking tricks when filming your scenes.
Provide Emotional Support
Filming intimate scenes can be an emotionally taxing process for both cast and crew, so it’s important to ensure everyone on set has someone they can turn to if they feel overwhelmed, distraught, or violated. As IC, I act as the liaison for any emotional support needs during the duration of filming these scenes.

Why me?
I know how hard it can be to find the “right person” for the job, whether it’s experience or shared perspective or the right personality that you’re looking for, so let me introduce myself…
I am a young but experienced queer (trans and lesbian) filmmaker based out of New York City, building a career here after growing up in the South and Midwest before studying film in Boston. I have multiple award-winning films behind me, recognized for my work exploring the intimate personal worlds of queer people, including turning the camera on myself. It is here where my passion for intimacy coordination stems: I care deeply about how our lives and bodies are presented on screen, queer or otherwise, and it is my personal mission to promote a filmmaking environment that values safety and positivity towards all bodies, respected both on and off camera. If this kind of safety and respect is of importance to you and your project, I believe we could truly make something special by working together to tell your story.
Aside from my personal filmmaking credits, I have worked with select filmmakers (and a stage production!) to bring intimacy coordination to their sets. I have been involved with scenes of love, of abuse, of tenderness, of harassment—whatever story needs to be told, I have the experience and training to make it happen. Speaking of training, aside from my experienced filmmaking background, I am also professionally certified as an IC by experienced intimacy coordinator and educator Kristen Elizabeth, whose 12-week certification training I have finished to completion. This covers all bases including consent, working with cast and crew, masking techniques for simulated sex, DEI, set safety protocol, studies of sex including vanilla, kink, fetish, and abusive sex, and many more specifics pertaining to the important work we do as ICs. All of this has prepared me for any job, and I promise you, with great confidence, that I can bring something of value to your production.
