Who Am I?
I am a NYC-based intimacy coordinator, editor, and independent filmmaker from Tallahassee, FL and Cleveland, OH, personally committed to work that explores the relationship between queer bodies and the surrounding world. As a certified IC, I strive through all of my work to create a safe and positive environment within the queer filmmaking community in order to tell our stories with authenticity, passion, and mutually-assured security. My work has been a reflection of my efforts to create such an environment, with films focused on accessibility, positive outlooks and personal healing for genderqueer audiences. These films have resonated with queer communities across the American northeast, where Wicked Queer audiences awarded my short Lying in Bed Alone, Breathing the Best in Show award for Experimental Shorts and a professional jury awarded my music video The Way I Feel Inside the Outstanding Music Video prize at the Emerson College annual student awards during my time at the school.
Now, I am focused on expanding my reach beyond my own films and communities to provide intimacy and editing services for a diverse array of projects where my skillset and experience may be of use. I care deeply about making our filmmaking community a welcoming space with important work getting made, and as an IC or a post-production professional on your project, I’m confident we can work towards that goal together.
